Our team is comprised of individuals with over a decade of nonprofit operational  experience with the executive president and vice-president having in-depth experience in the care of a myriad of equines. This combined experience coupled with the talent of our Board of Directors serves as our complement to the welfare of our animal residents.  Our president is a passionate animal lover who served over 20 years in Federal Service retiring as a GS-14 and the Vice President is a retired Command Sergeant Major who retired after 32 years  as a Regimental CSM. Both the president and vice president served in combat areas of operation in Iraq and Afghanistan as did our Marketing Director who also served and retired as a Command Sergeant Major. Our Treasurer (in her own right), is the subject matter expert in Tax Preparation, Nonprofit Finance and serves as our Registered Agent. Suffice to say our nonprofit is made up of respected friends and colleagues spanning a lifetime of friendship all sharing the common goal of providing for our equines in the golden period of their lives.
